when God calls you, you better answer.

Last night I got a call to sing at a mission service for 9am. I have to admit that at first I was like...I do not want to spend my Saturday at church. I had a long day at work and I was looking forward to sleeping in.

Long story short I ended up going because it just hit me all at once that God has sacrificed so much for me and I had the nerve to turn my nose up at going to do what I have been yearning to do for so long. SING!

Be careful what you ask for and be ready to fulfill your promises to God because He will call you, and you better answer or else rocks will cry out in your place.

So, God please forgive me for not wanting to sing this morning. I learned so much today. The theme was The Passionate Healer. To sum it all up, God sacrificed His all for us. It really shows how much He loves us despite our sins and iniquities. He still loves us and puts up with us even when we dont recognize His grace and mercy, or in my case, His blessing and calling on our lives. When God reveals your purpose and allows you the opportunity to let your light shine, please do not take it lightly. Know that the opportunities and situations He is putting you through is getting you ready for the next level, so GET IT RIGHT!
