Little Girl Dreams - It is Time!

I really do not know how to start this blog post, but I am choosing to type (speak) from the heart.

How did I get here...? I could only imagine what my younger self is feeling about who and what I have become thus far. I am inspired to have a conversation with her....that little girl with high hopes and dreams. When did I stop daydreaming?

Sometimes in life we just have to step back and put things in God's focus. You cannot figure out life on your own and neither can you live this life with peace, love, power, joy, happiness, and sound mind without God. As I pour out, I pray that you gain a new perspective and this helps you in your life as well. I love you all.

Let's just be honest....

I commend you for your ability to never give up. However, I do not like what I see. You cry and worry way too much over things that God has given you the power to speak over. This fight is not yours. Hand it over....to GOD!

I commend you for your ability to figure everyone else out and hold their deepest treasures. However, when are you going to look at me in the mirror? Stop being insecure. You are enough. You are rare for all the right reasons. God made you beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

I commend you for surviving thus far, but it is time to live. Yes a lot is at stake but the crown of life is worth so much more. You are a ruby...more than diamonds and pearls.

I admire your giving heart and spirit. However, when will you put your gifts to good use? This little girl is cheering and waiting on you. God needs you to push through.

God has given you a voice not just to sing but to speak for those that walk/tip toe in silence. For those women who know there is something missing but cannot seem to put it into words. You are a wife and a mother. Your wait is the time to serve. These gifts are not your own.

You can have a life of FreeDom if you start to believe like you used to. See, this is nothing new for you. People see your light but you continue to allow it to dim. The enemy has been on your trail this whole time. BUT for once and for all, it is time to STAND UP & OUT!!!

Sing like never before, Teach like never before. Speak like never before. Write it like never before.

This is our time...I am just here to remind you, QUEEN.

I will make you proud little girl :) My words are coming into action and I aint got no worries. I am a QUEEN. I have a Father in heaven that loves me more than any man can. He is waiting on me. Blessings will pour and this moment will be marked down in my story as the day of breakthrough and overcome. The day that changed everything. The start of my new book and my new day. I declare I am awake and willing to run with God until eternity :)

Hope you, yes you ;), reading this feels the same way and speak these similar declarations over your life. God wants to bless you...what are you willing to sacrifice? What is your inner little boy or little girl hope for you? Are you making them proud today?

Virtue.

I have wanted to speak on this subject for a while now and Im pretty sure this will not be the only post on this subject from me. It is in my spirit to speak on this subject because I feel we are living in a time where many are not trying to live up to virtue. Now yes as humans we are born into sin and are also given our own will and it is up to us what we decide to do with that will. You can either give it to God or give it to something else other than God.

I understand virtue as simply living in righteousness and upholding God's principles of faith, love, and hope. I struggle with virtue everyday as I am pretty sure most of you do too. From the negative thoughts to the storms that come in life, sometimes it is hard to maintain your/my virtue. It it also a struggle when it seems like those that dont uphold virtue are given earthly blessings, and it seems as if God has forgotten about you. When things dont simply happen for me/us like they used to or in our time, we began to feel doubt God. This is nature. We are nature. We are just dust that God gave life to.

Im going to get a little personal. If you have read my previous blog posts, you will see that I feel strongly about being a virgin. I just want to be that Proverbs Woman truthfully. I want to be able to walk down the aisle in a full white dress where I am completely covered in white and not have to look over my shoulder every five seconds and feel some type of way about wearing a white dress. I want to do things the right way especially in this area. I do not pass judgement on anyone that fornicates outside of marriage. My closest of closest that are dear to me have had sex outside of marriage. This has always just been a dream of mine and one that I want to come true even if everything else doesnt come through for me.


I am human and have fallen short. I can be the first to tell you that I struggle with stress and depression. In other words, I am not as strong as I should be in hope and faith. There are times when God tells me to do something and I dont do it out of being fearful and not having strong faith. I am working on all these things because I am seeing He can give and He can take away. Those gifts that He gives us to use for Him is just that. We have to use them for His will and when the opportunity presents itself, you better go for it even if your humanistic side doesnt want to.


I want to encourage everyone especially my female peers not to give up on your virtue. Stay in God's keeping. Im sure it will all work out the way it is intended for your best interest. Im not just speaking on sex persay but just your overall life. Be the best you can be in God's will!

Hello you guys...How are you?? I am bored out of my mind and thinking as always...

I am thinking about the reasons why I need to start living in the moment instead of trying to figure out the future. How can I have a future if I dont live for today? The future has to come from somewhere and I guess thats why God gaves us the "present". I am confused still on alot of things but I am realizing that its alright to stop thinking so much and just live. If you can just imagine being a senior in college with no clue about what's next? If you dont watch out, it will consume you and take over you. I think for me it is the constant remindance of not having that entry level position or creditials for grad school. On top of that, everyone wants to know whats next for me esp. my family. But all I have to say is "idk" and "ive applied to stuff but there has been no luck". So whats a girl to do? Should I sit here and weep or just live for this moment and know things will work out for me. For those of you who have read my blog on a consistent basis know I am simply obsessed with this subject. Its not something that I should ignore but I do need to start living for today and not worry about everyones input on MY future. The economy has really messed it up for newly college graduates but I cant let that get to me or determine my destination. So until then I will continue to pray and hold God in my heart and whatever is whatever.

God already has your tomorrow ready for you so make this day a good day. Take one step at a time and let God handle the rest. He only wants what's best for His child, so dont worry but just cast your cares on Him and He will be your refuge. Often times we forget who created us and who was here from the very beginning. You cant out smart God because He knows everything. Dont try to take the easy way out but trust in Him and He will see you through whatever situation you are going through. You are not alone. Someone else has went through the same thing and has made it through by the grace of God, and even if its not the same exact situation someone has been through something similar or more than you. Be thankful God loves you and cares for you.

I was talking to my friend yesterday and we rarely talk nemore especially since we are getting older and living our own lives, but neways we were just casually talking with the "hey how you doing?" and so on and she was telling me about a situation that she is going through and I told her about mines. She told me before I gave my insight that God already got it handled. It is just good to see that we can remain positive and stay strong in these times and we have not forgotten. It really made me feel good how she is handling her situation. People like to sterotype this generation but there are many of us that want what is best and are believers of God.

I hope that I have helped someone today. Remember God knows you and He only wants what is best for you but you have to choose whose side you are leaning on. You cant be parted down the middle. Its either yay or nay.

there's hope

I feel wonderful. I got a phone call this morning that could be the start of something great, and it somehow put me at an ease. Have you ever hoped and prayed for something so long, and before you were about to say I give up, GOD HAPPENS!!!!?

Please look over your TO DO list and make sure you are abiding by all the rules and make sure it happens so that God can Happen. You cant expect for things to fall in your lap. Take the time to be diligent, stay focus, and prayful. HE will do the rest by putting you in the right places at the right times...but you have to make sure you deliver!

God is so awesome. If you just put in the time and invest in your dreams, HE will see you through to the end of that situation til forever. Trust in Him and wait on Him. He will show up and show out!

Remember to pray. This is the most important part of it all. To ensure you are in connection at all times, you have to pray. One day you could feel down and the next you could have all the joy in the world by just praying.

time has come!!!

Hello all!!! Today it is getting chilly outside. I think Ohio is skipping fall and heading straight to winter....

This week I am so focused on the NABA conference I was telling you guys about. During the pre-registration, we had to post our resumes for companies to view and pick from. I have two interviews that I am oh so excited about....I have so much to do between now and then...God is lining things up for me and now it is time for me to grab and take the opportunity!!!...keep praying for me like you guys have been and Ill do the same for you...

Overcome by Faith

I was having Bible study just a few moments ago with a group of friends (it was so powerful and wonderful in so many ways) and I have to share the experience with you guys because I know I am not the only one that feels this way and I know it will be helpful to someone willing to read and who just wants a closer relationship with God because you have turned to everything else and nothing else works. The title of the lesson was Overcome by Faith. In the story, Jesus removes an evil spirit from a little boy. This little boy's father did everything he could do for his son, the little boy, and so the father gave the little boy to Jesus and let Him handle the situation. The story starts with Jesus' disciples not being able to handle the situation because they didnt realize their authority and decided to cast out the evil spirit through arguing. Jesus steps in (the power over all things) and cast out the evil spirit from the little boy because of course Jesus is the only way to cast out evil spirits. He is!!!! period. Read Mark 9: 14-29

Basically what hit me the most was when the father of the little boy cried out "I do believe...help me to overcome my unbelief" after Jesus told him, "Everything is possible for him who believes." Sometimes we try to do everything on our own and we take for granted that God is the only one we can run to in a time of trouble. His is the only way. Jesus came to earth to die for our sins and that should show us enough that He cares and will be there for us no matter what the situation. But as humans thinking only with the physical mind we like to see things right now at this second, we dont even realize what God is already doing in our lives. He is the only one to turn to. After friends have given all the advice they can give, after family have given all they can, you have to go to God. There is only so much friends and family can do and even boyfriends for that matter. We need to trust in Him and have faith. He is here to meet you halfway even for those who dont know who He is or dont care to know...He is still there! He has not forgotten about you...you are His child. He will never forsake you...trust in Him!!!!

I just had to share this with you because it really touched my heart. Please read the passage for yourself...it will help you in your walk with Christ. Also we need to start praying for each other and with each other...thats another subject I will touch on later on so be on the look out!!!....love you guys...stay strong...and have faith!!!
